We can't express fully how much we enjoyed our time with you both, and of course the other guests as well. In reflection, we don't think we could have picked a better spot to have our wedding. Every day was full of new adventures and vivid memories. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We can't wait to come back sometime. And the food... well, it was wonderful too. Just want to let you know how much we enjoyed our visit with you and your very beautiful resort. Everything was wonderful, food, drinks, your excellent staff, drivers, guides.. the whole deal, don't change a thing! We hope to make another trip maybe with another couple or my Dad. We really missed the Mopan, you folks, and all the rest of you guys when we got over  to the Cayes.  It just wasn't the same...and we probably would not go back there...but definitely will go back to the Mopan.  We really went through Mopan Withdrawal Pains.  Every night at 6 we'd wonder what all was going on at the lounge, started looking for "banana velvets" (never did find any, natch!! :O( , missing the comraderie, the great food, and wondering what was laid on for the next day.  It was truly a relaxing and enjoyable time.  Jeff & Lexi; Wash. I am having such a fun time reliving our stay there by telling all the customers (in my store) about your resort. We rave about the meals and all the wonderful trips to the various Maya ruins. I would just like to personally thank you for a wonderful stay at your resort. ...out of all the places we stayed in Belize, we found yours to be the best we could have chosen; when we arrived everything was first class. As I sit here back at work, my mind wanders and I'd do anything to be back in the bird tower sipping a Banana Velvet! ...what a wonderful time we had at your resort; and as promised, a vacation we'll never forget. The facility was gorgeous, well maintained, lush and relaxing. All of the extra touches added to the special experience we had at Mopan River Resort. And the food -- simply outstanding! I thought we had a few really good Thai restaurants in our town-- they are minor league compared to [Mopan]! Another unique aspect was the social environment that you create for your guests. We met some great people last week and we'll probably stay in touch with some of them. It was great to hear reports from fellow guests on what to expect during the next day's advnetures. All were a lot of fun and we learned much from your excellent guides about Belize and its culture and history. We will certainly recommend your resort to others. As someone who does economic development work at our local university, I can fully appreciate the impact your efforts, investment and commitment are making to Benque Viejo and the region...very impressive. Thank you for a fabulous week. My expectations were high because of what I had read and heard but they were exceeded in all respects. As a resident of Belize, I have been to most parts of the country but last week was the best single week in the four years I have lived here. I had not realized the advantage of your location until I visited. We spent less time driving to Tikal and the many attractions of western Belize than guests at any other resort. We long for the days spent at your piece of paradise. The resort was more beautiful than we imagined. Everything was perfect from the moment we met the two of you to the day we departed. We enjoyed all of the tours as well as the knowledge and friendliness of [your guides]. Your version of happy hour when everyone gathers to have a pre-dinner drink and talk about their day proved to be a wonderful way to meet the other guests, share our experiences and get to know them. The kitchen staff should be commended for their hard work from early in the morning, making those wonderful sandwiches for our lunches, till after the evening meal. It's not often a resort exceeds our expectations, but Mopan River certainly did. We had a great time, one we will be talking about for years to come.
